I decided to start a tradition this year of releasing short reads for Christmas. My first one is entitled “A Christmas Oath,” and is 12,600 words. More than a short story and less than a novella in size, it is more commonly called a novelette.
As usual, I have a few history lessons tucked inside, as the story deals with two themes:
Breach of promise of marriage
Mixed marriages between Protestants and Catholics
It is a sweet story with no sex to melt the snow. However, a few melted flakes do make their way between my heroine’s breasts. Like any other Christmas story, it ends in those usual miracles and mushy love scenes.
Hope you enjoy! It’s up on Amazon and will soon arrive elsewhere on Nook, iBooks, Kobo, and others.
Also, as the year comes rushing to a close, I want to thank each of my readers for their continued support. I truly appreciate you! Have a wonderful holiday and great New Year.
